Screenshot creation software which can apply filters to screen captures, add watermarks and crop images.
Winsnap is a screen capture program for taking screenshots of your Windows screen with the option of selecting the entire screen, active windows or a region of the screen that you may select with a tool. It also gives you the option of editing your screenshots, should you wish.
Some of the editing features you can perform on your images are adding cool drop shadows, watermarks, rotating images and adding reflections.
One of the main uses of WinSnap is that when you want to make professional-looking snapshots, the Windows Aero theme in Windows Vista and Windows 7 will usually display a translucent background. WinSnap can remove these ugly distractions and make your window screenshots look professional with a default Windows look by removing transparency.
Another way WinSnap can make your screenshots look more professional is by removing the background from behing corners and replacing it with a repaired drop shadow effect.
Features of WinSnap
- Add watermarks to images
- Aero Glass capture with shadows and transparencies.
- Non-rectangular shapes and rounded corners.
- Option to create thumbnails with smart scaling.
- Pulldown menus for tutorials.
- Region selection for screencaps.
- Unique 'Application' capture mode.

This download is licensed as shareware for the Windows operating system from screen capture software and can be used as a free trial until the trial period ends (after an unspecified number of days). What version of Windows can WinSnap run on?
WinSnap can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit downloads.
